Job summary

Freedman Consulting, LLC, a mission-driven consulting firm, is seeking an Associate to assist with policy research, deliverable development, and operational support for firm clients. The role advances a broad portfolio of issues aimed at innovations and social impact.

The Associate will join a growing team of over 50 strategists working at the intersection of policy, philanthropy, and politics, contributing to research, client meetings, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of research, legislative, communications, consulting, or policy-related experience preferred.
• Strong writing and research skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct policy and landscape research, aggregate and analyze data, and identify actionable insights for client strategies.
• Draft high-quality client-facing material, including slide decks, comprehensive reports, strategic plans, and briefing memos.
• Support client engagement, including prep for meetings and events.
• Provide administrative, operational, and logistical support on client teams; schedule, track timelines, and take notes.
• Support cross-functional firm needs.
