Job summary

Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, based in West Palm Beach, seeks an entry-level Community Impact and Planning Associate for the Community Strategy and Planning department. The role focuses on evaluating impact of Federation-funded programs, collecting and analyzing data, and supporting planning and allocations activities.

You will work with the Director of CSP and the Community Impact Analyst to gather program data, track KPIs, and prepare reports, while engaging with community partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, social sciences, public administration, social work, or a related field.
• Interest or coursework in research, program evaluation, or community planning; nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfort working with data, including basic data entry, organization, and analysis; willingness to build data visualization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with lay leaders, agency professionals, and Federation staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update engagement and program data in Federation platforms (Impact Database, CRM), ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
• Assist with in-person data collection at Federation programs and events, including surveying attendees and helping facilitate focus groups.
• Support the preparation and review of impact reports submitted by partner agencies and other Federation programs.
• Help track KPIs and assist with basic data analysis, including creating charts, dashboards, and summaries to communicate program impact.
• Assist in fulfilling routine data requests from Federation departments.
• Provide support for the 2028 Jewish Palm Beach Community Study.
• Support lay committee logistics and follow up.
• Assist the Director of CSP in drafting committee materials, reports, and other documents based on the Director's vision.
• Engage with community partners, Federation professionals, and other industry experts to gather insights on needs and expectations.
• Help research best practices and community needs to inform planning discussions.
• Assist in preparing and processing materials for the annual allocations process, including agency requests and recommendation reports.
• Work with the CSP Administrative Assistant to track and coordinate Partner Agency agreements, allocation letters, and payment schedules.
• Support ongoing agency compliance, including collecting and organizing required documentation.
• Draft written communications, summaries, and reports as needed for internal and external audiences.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives within the CSP department as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
