Job summary

Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is seeking an entry-level Community Impact and Planning Associate to join the Community Strategy and Planning team. You will help collect, organize, and analyze program data, support evaluation of funded programs, and assist with committee logistics and allocations materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in nonprofit management, social sciences, public administration, social work, or related field.
• Interest or coursework/experience in research, program evaluation, or community planning; nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfort working with data, including basic data entry, organization, and analysis; willingness to build data visualization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage with lay leaders, agency professionals, and Federation staff.
• Detail-oriented while able to see the big picture; curious and resourceful.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM or database systems a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of/is interested in Jewish communal structure; preferred.
• Must pass background check and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update engagement and program data in Federation platforms (Impact Database, CRM).
• Assist with in-person data collection at programs and events, including surveys and focus groups.
• Support preparation and review of impact reports from partner agencies and programs.
• Track KPIs and assist with basic data analysis; create charts, dashboards, and summaries of impact.
• Assist in fulfilling routine data requests from Federation departments.
• Support the 2028 Jewish Palm Beach Community Study.
• Support lay committee logistics and drafting committee materials.
• Engage with community partners to gather insights for planning.
• Research best practices and community needs to inform planning discussions.
• Prepare and process materials for the annual allocations; track partner agreements and payment schedules.
• Support agency compliance documentation and record keeping.
• Draft written communications and reports; assist with special CSP projects.
