Job summary

Schmidt Rise in New York seeks a Manager, Learning & Impact to lead the development and delivery of online and in-person learning experiences for Rise Global Fellows, leveraging Schmidt entities and Rhodes Partnership Programmes networks. You will build communities of practice, foster cross-collaboration, and maximize impact while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires experience with learners aged 16–25, safeguarding knowledge, and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Experience overseeing in-person or online community and/or events management.
• Experience managing teams and programs.
• Must be able to work extended hours or weeks for Rise Residential Summit and convenings.
• Must be able to travel within the U.S. and internationally as needed.
• Position is based in Schmidt New York office at least three days a week, and as needed for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a year-round calendar of learning experiences for Rise Fellows.
• Develop and deliver interactive online and in-person experiential learning leveraging Schmidt entities and Rhodes networks.
• Source and mentor Rise Global Fellows as participants and/or speakers.
• Design, support, and evaluate communities of practice to increase impact.
• Lead strategy and toolkit for regional meetups to foster learning, collaboration, and networking.
• Identify, launch, leverage, and monitor online tools to connect Rise Fellows and stimulate collaborations.
• Design systems for capturing evidence of impact stories and share results with stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
