Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking an FPS Supervisor to lead the Family Preservation Services program in their county.

The role involves supervising FPS Workers and Specialists in delivering intensive in-home crisis intervention and counseling to families at risk of placement, aiming for reunification and sustained family support. The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in family services, including 2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Education required.
• 5 years of proven experience in providing treatment services to families.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise FPS Workers and FPS Specialists in provision of intensive, in-home crisis intervention and counseling.
• Promote the philosophy, beliefs and values of the NJ FPS program and ensure adherence to FPS model policies.
• Collaborate with families, community partners and agency staff to support reunification and family preservation goals.
