Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Managing Technical Consultant, Power and Renewables to join our California team. You will support permitting, regulatory compliance, and CEQA/NEPA projects for energy clients across the western US.

Responsibilities include technical analyses, data management, report writing, and collaboration with SMEs. A strong background in environmental permitting and travel to client sites is required, with a degree in environmental science/engineering

Qualifications

• 6+ years of impact assessment and environmental permitting experience.
• Prior experience developing NEPA and CEQA documentation; state permitting knowledge is a plus.
• Travel to client facilities and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analyses for environmental permitting and compliance (CEQA/NEPA, CWA 401/404).
• Support large compliance programs in data management and communication roles.
• Contribute to impact assessment deliverables and report writing.
• Collaborate with ERM practitioners across offices to execute projects.
