Job summary

Social Finance seeks an Associate for Workforce & Education Investments to join a mission-driven team coordinating investments, research, and program design across Boston, SF, DC, and other offices. You will build financial models, perform due diligence, and develop data dashboards to inform funding decisions and support responsible capital deployment.

You will work with diverse partners to advance workforce solutions, manage investor relationships, and contribute to RFP responses and program

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of full-time professional experience with at least 2 years in impact investing or related fields.
• Advanced experience in Excel and financial modeling; Advanced PowerPoint experience.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and statistical coding (R or Stata) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support fund design decisions with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Source and perform due diligence for new fund investments.
• Create data dashboards to track portfolio performance and trends.
• Develop AI tool workflows to improve processes across funds.
• Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage service providers to optimize operations and outcomes.
• Assist with contract drafting and governance documents.
• Support capital raises and investor communications.
• Contribute to new business development efforts and RFP responses.
• Engage in capacity-building and knowledge management initiatives.
