Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher with at least 3 years in finance or accounting including payroll processing or accounts payable.
• Superior organizational skills with an obsessive attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with remote team members.
• Comfort with starting and stopping tasks to address urgent matters.
• Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects with deadlines.
• High level of interpersonal maturity, poise, and professionalism.
• Strong judgment in handling sensitive information and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and resolve billing issues.
• Complete monthly reconciliation of donor management and accounting systems.
• Process wires for disbursement and transfers between bank accounts.
• Support the annual budgeting process, quarterly reporting, and annual audit.
• Maintain complete and timely files for accounting, vendor activity, and contracts.
• Support the maintenance of accounting policies and procedures manual and SOPs.
• Collaborate with the entire team to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
• Oversee payroll administration and HR-related financial processes.
