Northern Trust is seeking an experienced investment professional to analyze investment data, interpret market trends, and formulate buy/sell recommendations for portfolio managers and clients.

You will review holdings, perform statistical analyses, and communicate insights to internal teams and external managers. A minimum of 8+ years in investment or financial analysis is required, with strong knowledge of financial markets and reporting.

Formación

• 8+ years of investment or financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of investments and the financial markets.
• Analytical and personal computer skills are needed to prepare analysis and reports.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts fundamental research to analyze investment data, formulating investment recommendations for investment managers and clients.
• Interprets data concerning asset prices, yields, stability, and future trends by reviewing daily stock reports, financial periodicals, securities manuals and talking with investment managers and brokers.
• Reviews and analyzes the assets of investment portfolios to determine whether the portfolio's current holdings are meeting the portfolio objectives; makes buy and sell recommendations as appropriate.
• Conducts statistical analyses on stock or non investment grade fixed income securities price fluctuations, incorporating company results and prospects to formulate investment conclusions.
• Researches and submits findings on the sale or purchase of portfolio holdings by analyzing market trends and global politics.
• Communicates with internal and external investment managers, brokers, clients, and partners to obtain or provide investment information and to make investment recommendations.
