Job summary

The ACLU - National Office in New York, NY is seeking an Undergraduate intern to join the Corporate Engagement Team within the Development Department. The internship is part-time and hybrid from our New York City office, with stipend available for eligible students. Qualifying applicants must be enrolled undergrad students and based in the U.S.

for the duration of the internship. You’ll gain exposure to donor relations, prospect research, and fundraising materials, while supporting team

Qualifications

• Qualifying applicants must currently be matriculated undergraduate students or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience and must be based in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship.
• Interest in a career in development, prospect research, and/or corporate fundraising.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and data handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting basic prospect research on business support for civil rights related work and provide input on account cultivation and campaigns.
• Providing design support on fundraising materials, including pitch decks, presentations, one-pagers, and event assets.
• Supporting on data management projects.
• Assisting with small group gatherings intended for donor education, cultivation and stewardship.
