Job summary

Robin Hood, NYC’s poverty-fighting philanthropy, seeks an Associate, Program and Impact to support two grantmaking teams with due diligence, landscape analyses, data collection, and impact reporting.

You will collaborate with program officers and senior staff to draft grant recommendations, analyze outcomes, and prepare presentations, while providing admin support to keep projects on track in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least one to two years of work experience.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and collaboration ability.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter capable of timely completion with minimal support.
• Customer service orientation and good interpersonal skills.
• Team player and willing to go above and beyond to help the team succeed.

• Creative, flexible problem-solver capable of adapting to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Assist managing directors with due diligence for new and continuing investments.
• Support landscape analyses and present findings to teams.
• Support financial analysis of portfolio organizations.
• Analyze outcome data from partner reports and provide summaries.
• Attend meetings and site visits with community partners, taking notes.
• Draft grant recommendations under supervision and draft contract goals.
• Help standardize data collection and goal reporting.
• Analyze grant reports and external research to identify trends and impact.
• Create impactful PowerPoint presentations and explore AI integration.
