Job summary

Next Street is a mission-driven consulting firm focused on growing small businesses and nonprofits to revitalize communities. The Business Analyst will support internal systems, reporting, and operational analytics in partnership with Corporate leadership.

Responsibilities include managing system upgrades, producing real-time analytics, and assisting with financial operations while fostering collaboration across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management/administration or equivalent with strong academic performance.
• 1–2 years of experience in a professional environment; small to mid-size business experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with business operations systems (CRM, time/expense/profitability management, project management, data visualization) is a plus.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Entrepreneurial initiative and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support, develop, and improve Next Street’s internal infrastructure in partnership with Corporate and firm leadership.
• Develop reporting/analytics solutions to drive real-time decision-making and automate dashboards.
• Assist with day-to-day financial and operational management and optimize processes.
• Contribute to strategic or special project initiatives as needed.
