Job summary

New York City Economic Development Corporation is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Incentives team within the Strategic Investments Group. The role focuses on managing projects related to tax incentives, bond financing, New Markets Tax Credit financing, and other development finance tools from origination through closing.

The Senior Associate will conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and advise businesses and nonprofits on available financing programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in economic development, finance, or related fields.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage discretionary tax incentive transactions from origination through closing.
• Review applications and conduct financial analysis and due diligence.
• Advise applicants on incentives and financing opportunities.
• Present findings to senior staff, boards, and city agencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on strategic initiatives.
