Job summary

Somos Un Pueblo Unido in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an Operations Manager to lead HR, policy, and day-to-day operations aligning with our mission. You will support staff, contractors, and volunteers, shaping a compliant and inclusive workplace.

The role reports to the Administrative Director and requires 3+ years in nonprofit operations or HR, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong organizational and communication skills. 32-hour weeks come with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nonprofit operations, HR, or admin experience.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and nonprofit compliance.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and staff well-being.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; familiarity with HR software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and regularly update personnel policies and protocols.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Manage benefits tracking in collaboration with external vendors.
• Support Directors with evaluations, work plans, and personnel support.
• Lead staff training on internal policies, workplace safety, and harassment prevention.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local labor laws and support an inclusive work culture.
• Maintain organizational systems for scheduling, communications, file storage, and project management.
• Oversee office infrastructure across counties, vendor contracts, and equipment purchases.
• Support technology coordination including cybersecurity protocols and accounts.
• Lead internal communication and reporting systems for alignment and documentation.
• Maintain records to support government reporting; assist with staff trainings and events.
