KIPP St. Louis is seeking a Middle School General Education Teacher for an immediate opening. This full-time, 10-month role welcomes teachers across middle grades and content areas to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction.

Start date is immediate, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement to support all students. Ideal candidates hold a Missouri teaching certificate, have at least two years of classroom experience, and demonstrate a proven record of driving student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Missouri teaching certification required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to improving outcomes for historically underserved students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction that engages students with grade-level standards.
• Internalize curriculum to ensure alignment to standards and pacing.
• Design tasks that require analysis, justification, and application of learning.
• Provide scaffolds to increase access while maintaining rigor.
• Anticipate misconceptions and plan targeted supports for all learners.
