Job summary

Tennessee Craft in Nashville, TN is seeking an Operations & Development Manager to strengthen our mission by coordinating essential operations, databases, and systems while supporting revenue development through grant writing and donor stewardship.

This role partners with the Executive Director to oversee fundraising campaigns, sponsor cultivation, event logistics for statewide craft fairs, and financial operations support in a busy nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in nonprofit operations, fundraising/development, or arts administration.
• Proficiency with CRM/donor databases (Salesforce), financial software (QuickBooks), and office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
• Exceptional written communication with the ability to tailor narratives for diverse audiences.
• High degree of accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and logistics tracking.

Responsibilities

• Grant Writing & Management: Identify, write, and submit grant proposals; track cycles, compliance, and reporting.
• Donor & Membership Stewardship: Manage giving campaigns, annual appeals, and renewal pipelines; cultivate major donors.
• Corporate Sponsorships: Support outreach, pitch creation, and sponsorship fulfillment for events and programs.
• Database Administration: Maintain donor CRM with accuracy; generate financial reports for board and audits.
• Office & Systems Management: Oversee workflows, vendor relations, and IT infrastructure.
• Event Logistics: Coordinate vendor contracts, artist registration, site logistics, permits, and on-site operations.
