Job summary

Pennsylvania State University is seeking an Advancement and Giving Specialist to engage donors and lead fundraising efforts for Four Diamonds, THON, and Mini-THON. The role is based in Hershey, PA, with travel and some evenings/weekends expected.

You will identify prospects, conduct visits, and work with campus partners to secure annual commitments and build lasting relationships with donors and volunteers. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for donor engagement and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Engage key constituencies to solicit philanthropic support for research, patient care, and family programs.
• Partner with THON leadership and student volunteers to incorporate students into donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Collaborate with DDAR, Penn State Health, and College of Medicine to communicate impact and build relationships.
• Analyze giving patterns to develop sustainable donor strategies and growth.
