Job summary

Causewave Community Partners seeks a Director of Fund Development to lead fundraising strategy, donor relations, and grant writing. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the President & CEO, with responsibility for cultivating major gifts, corporate and foundation support, and program funding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional fundraising experience.
• Staff management experience preferred.
• Meaningful work in or for the nonprofit sector.
• Strong financial and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead funding strategy development and implementation for individuals, corporate and foundations.
• Plan and execute the annual fundraising event with staff, board and volunteers.
• Manage the major donor giving effort, the W.B. Potter Society.
• Inspire the Senior Manager, Grants Capacity Building to maximize grant writing.
• Collaborate on program measurement, improvement and enhancement.
