Job summary

S:US is seeking a Forensic Enhancement Coordinator to support individuals with forensic histories and chronic homelessness through collaborative, community-based interventions. You will promote rehabilitation, skills for reintegration, and ongoing stability within trauma-informed care frameworks.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to engage diverse populations while aligning with SUS core values and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Forensic knowledge/history.
  • Experience with homelessness and mental illness.
  • Experience working with forensic/reentry populations preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate intake engagement and tailor service plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Organize and facilitate focus groups, workshops, and activities centered on reintegration and stability.
  • Connect clients with resources such as sealing records, workplace rights education, drug laws updates, and voting rights.
  • Monitor and document client progress and adapt service plans as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
