Easterseals PORT Health is seeking an Employment Specialist/Job Coach to secure community-based employment for adults with disabilities in Whiteville and Columbus areas. This full-time, hybrid role requires travel within the service territory and involves collaboration with VR counselors and the IPS team to coordinate supports and trainings.

You will develop job opportunities, assist with resumes and interviews, and maintain detailed records.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license with clean record and current insurance.
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory.
• Reliable transportation for program delivery area.

Mansioni

• Develop connections with community employers to create local job opportunities.
• Prepare resumes and accompany individuals to interviews; assist with applications.
• Coordinate weekly communication with each caseload and document updates.
• Lead primary job development activities for the program.
• Maintain case records per licensing and funding standards.
• Coordinate with families, case managers, and other agencies.
• Provide on-the-job training at community sites as needed.
