• Deep understanding of platform best practices across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and blogs.
• Exceptional copywriting and editing with an authentic, accessible tone.
• Self-starter who can manage content calendars and vendor deadlines.
• Data-informed with familiarity with engagement metrics and SEO basics.
• Passion for advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Tell Impactful Stories: Write and edit engaging weekly blog posts and scroll-stopping social media copy across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and our website.
• Repurpose & Optimize: Turn a single story into multi-format assets tailored for specific channels to drive engagement, donor inspiration, and lead generation.
• Manage Editorial Calendars: Proactively plan, maintain, and execute content pipelines to keep our messaging consistent and on deadline.
• Lead Video Projects: Serve as the main liaison for video vendors—coordinating shoot schedules, giving feedback on edits, and delivering brand-aligned videos.
• Protect Brand & Reputation: Monitor and respond to local Google Reviews with a compassionate, person-centered voice.
• Drive Engagement through Data: Apply basic SEO/GEO best practices and analyze digital metrics to continuously refine content performance.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with internal teams and subject matter experts to uncover human-interest stories and support ad-hoc communications collateral.
