Job summary

Homeless No More in Columbia, SC seeks a Development Director to lead fundraising, donor relations, and annual development planning. You will partner with the CEO and a donor relations team to grow non-grant revenue.

This full-time, in-office role focuses on expanding individual and corporate giving, managing events such as Stars So Bright and Race for Place, and building strong relationships with sponsors and community partners to sustain the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in nonprofit work and fundraising.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Blackbaud software preferred.
• Proven track record of donor stewardship and engaging community stakeholders, including direct sponsorship asks.

Responsibilities

• Donor engagement and management; serve as donors' primary contact and cultivate relationships.
• Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns; oversee Stars So Bright and Race for Place 5k.
• Develop annual development plan to increase contributions and sponsorships.
• Maintain donor database with accurate tracking and reporting; maximize campaign analytics.
• Represent HNM at community events and collaborate with leadership on major gifts and capital campaigns.
