Job summary

Fairstead is seeking an Analyst, Development to support its Affordable Housing platform across the US, including acquisition and new construction projects. The role emphasizes financial analysis, budgeting, and coordination with senior staff and external partners.

You will compile due diligence, track invoices, and assist in debt/financing processes while supporting community meetings and regulatory approvals. Travel to properties may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; masters preferred.
• Demonstrated achievement in coursework such as development, finance, accounting, urban planning.

Responsibilities

• Review weekly development financial information and budgets.
• Analyze ledgers, rent rolls, and other property reports.
• Coordinate meetings for assigned deals with internal/external teams.
• Prepare meeting minutes for deal leads and track AP across developments.
• Compile monthly construction draws for senior staff review.
• Assist in affordable housing acquisition, rehabilitation, and development (LIHTC, Section 8).
