Job summary

Reinvestment Fund in Philadelphia seeks a Senior Commercial Loan Closer to support the Senior Closing Manager and Credit & Lending Administration. You will manage day-to-day loan closing operations, from documentation collection to closing, serving as a subject matter expert on high-impact projects.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in commercial loan closings, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (finance, real estate, construction management, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience with commercial loan transactions.
• Understanding of commercial lending, documentation and applicable laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally with internal/external customers.
• Ability to manage high pressure situations and multi-transaction work load.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with electronic file storage and collaborative document management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage loan closing checklist and attorney vendor management.
• Process searches and KYC due diligence for loan parties.
• Review loan documents for compliance with credit approval and regulations.
• Coordinate closing with all parties and review HUD-1 and related letters.
• Post-closing quality control and document management.
• Prepare closing disbursements and coordinate funding needs.
• Oversee timely payment of closing invoices.
