Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of equipment used to manufacture therapies. You will perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across multiple shifts, following SOPs and safety protocols.

The role requires a technical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, and support changeovers while maintaining compliance with cGMPs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2 years of Maintenance experience.
• 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience.
• High school diploma / GED and 4 years of Maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on equipment per SOPs and safety protocols.
• Assist with equipment setup, disassembly, and changeovers with minimal errors.
• Follow cGMPs, SOPs, and safety procedures; document work under supervision.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance programs and generate/complete work orders for tasks.
• Assist senior technicians; identify issues and escalate when needed.
• Review manuals to deepen understanding of equipment and processes.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors to align priorities and maintain operations.
