Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Tech Engineering I to provide technical engineering support across system and equipment optimization, upgrades, and repairs in the Inspection and Packaging area. You will help ensure compliance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and FDA standards while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a technical background with at least a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree plus experience, and may involve night shifts and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and packaging lines is advantageous.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for system/equipment optimization, upgrades, and repairs.
• Assist during regulatory inspections and respond to FDA inquiries.
• Maintain equipment and spare parts inventory; ensure compliance with CFRs and cGMPs.
• Interpret plans and P&IDs; support night shifts and weekend work as needed.
