Job summary

The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) seeks a full-time Impact Specialist to support the collection and measurement of its impact in the small business sector. Hybrid role based in Waterbury, CT with occasional travel to Stamford, Hartford, and New London. Salary range $45,000–$50,000 plus benefits, commensurate with experience.

The role emphasizes data input, management, reporting, and ensuring data integrity to drive program decisions; travel to events is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of office experience and an undergraduate degree.
• Coursework/experience in statistics, data management, analytics, or program evaluation preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational/communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with databases/CRM systems is a plus.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel.

Responsibilities

• Support data collection and ensure data integrity for impact reporting.
• Manage client services data input and maintain confidentiality.
• Support CRM/database management and data cleanup.
• Retrieve data to inform program development and partnerships.
• Assist with data reporting for grants and compliance.
• Develop and analyze surveys; cleanup results for analysis.
• Present data trends to staff to foster data-driven decisions.
• Oversee client intake process and collect impact data.
• Train staff on using the client database.
