The Impact Coordinator serves as a critical member of the Community Impact Department, and works closely with multiple key impact initiatives and teams to design, implement, administer, and track current and future programming and products to drive measurable impact aligned with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas pillars of Education, Income, Health, and Capacity Building

The successful candidate will have a goal-oriented focus, growth mindset, acute attention to detail, and a passion for driving measurable impact in Education, Income, and Health across Southern Dallas & North Texas.
The Coordinator position will have the unique opportunity to provide high level support aimed at improving the implementation of UWMD’s existing place-based impact initiatives (Southern Dallas Thrives & Hamilton Park Thrives), in addition to assisting with new innovations and partnerships. This role will serve in a cross functional capacity, working to support multi-faceted corporate-community initiatives and coordinating teams. The position will be responsible for providing high level administrative support & tracking impact data/goals/metrics, including managing activities, engaging stakeholders, and implementing program activities. Other responsibilities include overseeing the successful completion of projects and events in a high demand environment. The Coordinator will perform specialized tasks, manage deadlines and progress across the team to ensure timely completion, and oversee the delivery of projects at a high standard.
The Coordinator will have deep knowledge of and excellent administrative skill sets, and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that continuously drives high level results. Working as part of a team, the Coordinator will track and report on initiative outcomes, and ensure that place-based initiatives are reaching overall UWMD goals. The Coordinator partners, completes, analyzes, reviews, and structures the needs and projects of the initiatives through high level implementation and project management aligned with UWMD’s community impact efforts. The Coordinator will report to the Vice President, Southern Dallas Thrives, who will provide the guiding strategy and continued oversight of all programs.

Bachelor’s degree required; degrees in urban planning, Public Administration, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience required. Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience. Background in program development and management, business administration, and/or non-profit management strongly desired.
