Job summary

The Boston Foundation is seeking a Manager, Philanthropy Communications to translate complex program work into compelling donor stories and materials that support fundraising and donor engagement.

You will work across Philanthropy, Programs, and Marketing to ensure cohesive messaging and high-quality communications, including proposals, presentations, and donor materials, while supporting donor engagement events.

Qualifications

• 5 – 8+ years of experience in communications, content, events, fundraising support, Marketing, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor-centered narratives across formats and priority audiences.
• Write and produce impact stories, donor narratives, proposals, meeting materials, and campaign messaging.
• Translate complex programmatic work into donor-friendly language.
• Collaborate with Philanthropy and Marketing to ensure cohesive storytelling and messaging across channels.
• Support donor engagement events with content coordination and marketing support.
