Foundation Communities, based in Austin, TX, is seeking an Asset Manager to support the Organization's affordable housing portfolio, including SRO and Family properties, and related assets. The role involves evaluating property performance, budgeting, forecasting, and contributing to long-term asset strategies to preserve housing opportunities.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and financial skills with a mission-driven mindset and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant work experience in multifamily or affordable housing acquisitions, asset management, finance, operations, underwriting, or related analytical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of financial statements and performance metrics.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical and operational support across the Asset Management Division and its portfolio in the Austin and DFW metros.
• Monitor property performance against annual plans, budgets, and long-term asset strategies.
• Create and maintain asset-level business plans and monitor progress toward strategic goals.
• Lead affordability compliance milestone planning and capital improvement tracking with other teams.
