Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Research Technician to maintain laboratory equipment, organize and prepare samples, conduct experiments, and record and analyze data in support of immunology research and the Catherine Othieno Sempa Memorial Post Baccalaureate Scholars Program. This onsite role at 600 Main Street offers a pay range of $21.00 - $29.01 per hour, with full-time benefits.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required (with a six-month grace period for verification); 1–2 years of lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required; degree equivalency verification grace period available
• Grace period up to six months from hire date (up to 1 year per diem) to provide degree equivalency
• Experience in lieu of a degree accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory experiments following established protocols.
• Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate and troubleshoot as needed.
• Record experimental data and maintain organized records of procedures and results.
• Compile and analyze data using statistical methods.
• Assist in data interpretation and presentation of findings and reports
