Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for an Immunology Medical Affairs Field Medical (MSL) Summer Intern located in Horsham, PA (hybrid). This internship runs from mid-May through late August 2027 and reports to a Senior MSL with exposure to the Dermatology team and Medical Affairs partners.

You will gain hands-on experience translating clinical data into compliant scientific exchange, creating summaries, organizing congress activities, and developing automation prompts for MSL

Qualifications

• A minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated interest in Medical Affairs and/or a Medical Science Liaison career.
• Ability to critically evaluate and clearly summarize clinical and scientific literature.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presenting scientific information to varied audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Scientific resource development: build and update internal summaries and disease-state guides for psoriasis and immunology areas.
• Congress planning: organize pre-congress planning and synthesize post-congress highlights.
• Insights analysis: aggregate field medical insights to inform strategy.
• Literature surveillance: perform PubMed searches and summarize new data.
• Stakeholder analytics: support mapping and engagement analytics using Excel and visualization tools.
• AI-enabled workflow: develop and test Copilot prompts and templates for MSL tasks.
• Training materials: contribute to onboarding guides and knowledge checks.
• Field exposure: participate in MSL meetings and regional calls to learn compliant exchanges.
• Capstone project: own a defined summer project and present outcomes to leadership.
• Intern program engagement: participate in Horsham-based intern activities.
