Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Sales Forecasting Manager to lead the creation of sales forecasts and consolidation for the Immunology Franchise. The role involves developing accurate projections for Plan, LBE, LRP, Portfolio and actual submissions, while collaborating with executives, Marketing & Sales, Analytics and Commercial Finance.

Key responsibilities include month-end close support, variance analysis, and presenting findings to Commercial VP’s and Finance Leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to triangulate diverse data sets to inform forecasting and finance impact.
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP, BPC and Power BI knowledge preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical forecasting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate product sales projections for Plan, LBE, LRP and Portfolio submissions.
• Lead Immunology forecasting consolidations including actuals reporting and reviews.
• Support month-end close with variance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare sales reporting and forecasting packages independently.
• Communicate monthly results and forecasts to senior leaders.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Pricing, Finance and Market Analytics teams.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support for launches and market scenarios.
• Lead enhancements of financial models and forecasting processes.
