Job summary

MSD Malaysia is offering a 4-6 month co-op in Cambridge, MA, starting January 2027. You will join our Research and Development division to study novel targets in inflammatory indications and work on wet-lab techniques including cell culture, CRISPR, ELISA, RNA isolation, qPCR and flow cytometry.

Ideal candidates are BS/ MS or PhD students with immunology, cell biology, or molecular biology training, strong academics, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in school as an undergraduate or graduate student in biological sciences or a related field.
• Availability for a 6 month period starting at the beginning of 2027.
• Availability to work full-time on site in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute key techniques including culturing primary human cells and cell lines.
• Perform CRISPR editing, biochemical assays, ELISA and cytokine-based assays.
• Conduct RNA isolation, qPCR, and flow cytometry/microscopy analyses.
