Qualifications

• A terminal doctoral degree MD/DO or PhD in basic science disciplines, such as Immunology or related field is required.
• Three (3) years of relevant teaching experience in health profession education, and prior experience teaching in a medical school curriculum is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop goals, learning objectives, pre‑work assignments, pre‑ and post‑test questions and any supplemental materials for Phase 1 topics.
• Develop cases for the case‑based curriculum.
• Run large group sessions and facilitate case‑based learning sessions 3 mornings per week (M/W/F) in year 1 and 3 mornings/afternoons per week in year 2.
• Collaborate with clinical and basic science faculty for development of clinical cases and evaluation of learning outcomes.
• Attend monthly faculty meetings and participate in academic faculty development sessions.
