Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA/CNS) to join the Immunodeficiency Clinic & Allergy Outpatient I at the Main Campus in Cleveland. The role includes primary and specialty care in a team-based setting, with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and education of patients and staff.

Responsibilities include comprehensive histories and exams, ordering tests, prescribing within licensure, patient education, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• MSN required upon hire or within 3 years of hire for external hires and internal hires moving from a non-APRN licensed role to an APRN licensed role.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• If in neonatal care service area Master’s Degree is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough medical histories and physical examinations and initiates appropriate tests.
• Performs routine and specialized diagnostic procedures as credentialed by hospital.
• Prescribes and monitors medications where allowed by license.
• Educates patients about disease, treatments, and side effects.
• Participates in medical team rounds and collaborates with nursing and other staff.
• Refers patients to specialists when appropriate and ensures continuity of care.
