Job summary

AllerVie Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care in allergy and immunology, evaluating, diagnosing, and managing care under clinical protocols. The NP will work with physicians and staff to ensure access, efficiency, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include exams, diagnosing conditions, prescribing therapies including immunotherapy, developing treatment plans, coordinating tests, and documenting in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current and unrestricted NP license in Alabama.
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat allergy and immunology conditions.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams and health assessments.
• Prescribe medications and immunotherapy per clinical protocols.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborate with supervising physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient education and counseling on management and prevention.
• Refer patients to specialists or ancillary services as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Serve as clinical resource and coordinate care with front/back office teams.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and AllerVie policies.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
