Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Scientist to design, validate and optimize immunoassays for veterinary diagnostic testing. You will lead a team, analyze data, and collaborate across departments to transfer technology into manufacturing.

The role requires strong molecular biology skills, immunoassay experience, and the ability to communicate complex results clearly. A Bachelor's with experience or a PhD with related work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, veterinary science or similar field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 0–2 years in related field.
• Experience applying analytical skills in experimental design and statistical data analysis.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques including bioconjugations and immunoassay development.
• Ability to communicate scientific information effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Understanding of veterinary diagnostics and testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, optimize, and validate immunoassays for veterinary diagnostic testing.
• Lead and mentor lower-level team staff; translate goals into actionable development plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support technology transfer to manufacturing.
• Author protocols, study reports, and SOPs; document process changes/optimizations.
• Perform QC testing of biological and critical components; investigate deviations and root causes.
