Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, veterinary science or related field + 4 years of experience or PhD with 0–2 years of experience.
  • Experience with analytical skills in experimental design and statistical data analysis.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic immunoassay development and protein purification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, validate, and optimize immunoassays for veterinary diagnostics.
  • Analyze data and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
  • Provide leadership and coordinate tasks across team members.
  • Lead tech transfers of products from laboratories to manufacturing.
  • Author protocols, reports, and SOPs for process changes.
  • Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Support USDA licensing studies and related regulatory activities.
  • Perform QC testing of biological components and processes.
