Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC. is seeking a laboratory professional to support research and product development by executing experiments, testing new products, and maintaining lab equipment.

The role includes scheduled maintenance, instrument qualification activities, and weekend work to support feasibility, development, and qualification testing of new products. Responsibilities include immunoassay testing, equipment troubleshooting, staff training, and ensuring compliance with safety and SOP

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in scientific field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Two years' laboratory experience, preferably with immunoassays.
• BSL-2 biosafety level required.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Executes immunoassay kit component testing using plate-based assays.
• Qualification testing of new immunoassays.
• Sample processing and testing using established and new assays.
• Testing to optimize product performance with complex layouts and procedures.
• Pilot scale preparation and testing of components for immunoassay kits.
• Trains new employees on assay procedures, analysis software, and equipment maintenance.
• Performs routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and manages supplies.
