Job summary

Merck is seeking a scientifically driven scientist to support MAPPs studies and LC-MS workflows within DMPK. You will execute cell-based and immunoaffinity workflows, prepare samples for analysis, and maintain instruments while generating high-quality data.

Collaborating with immunology, bioanalysis and mass spectrometry teams, you will help publish findings and contribute to diverse biologics programs, with emphasis on accuracy and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ lab experience or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Hands-on lab experience with immunoaffinity/enrichment and LC-MS workflows.
• Experience maintaining mammalian cell cultures and handling proteomics samples.

Responsibilities

• Execute MAPPs experiments to support immunogenicity risk assessment.
• Maintain human cell cultures and prepare samples for LC-MS analysis.
• Perform immunoaffinity enrichment and LC-MS sample prep.
• Operate and troubleshoot Orbitrap-based MS platforms.
• Document data and ensure data integrity per procedures.
• Assist in optimizing sample prep and automation initiatives.
• Maintain equipment, consumables, and safety/quality records.
