Job summary

Great Lakes Bay Health Centers in Michigan is seeking a RN Immunization Coordinator who will oversee vaccine management, clinic coordination, and staff education, including onboarding and annual competencies. The role involves liaising with local health departments, MCIR, MDHHS, and manufacturers, implementing new immunization policies, and producing reports to monitor progress.

A $2,000 sign-on bonus for registered nurses is available; some travel between GLBHC sites may be required; full-time

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing preferred; RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Three years of health-related leadership/PM experience or equivalent in PCCMH implementation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor immunization practices within GLBHC.
• Coordinate immunization clinics with community partners.
• Onboard and educate new immunization staff; conduct annual competencies.
• Liaise with local health departments and MCIR/MDHHS.
• Develop and maintain policies for immunizations at GLBHC sites.
• Monitor quality measures; generate reports; perform data analysis.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and assist staff with workflows.
