Department Information

Stamps Health Services is an outpatient ambulatory care center that provides health care and health education to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building, next to our Campus Recreation Center. Stamps Health Services provides care in six areas: Primary care, women's health, Psychiatry, Travel/Immunization/Allergy, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Services (lab and radiology).

Job Summary

Leads immunization processing and coordination for all incoming students within Stamps Health Services (SHS), in accordance with SHS, Institute and state/federal regulatory requirements ensuring compliance. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty, staff, and students. This position typically will advise and counsel: faculty, staff and students. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities
  • Job Duty 1 - Review and process immunization lab results and records to ensure accuracy and appropriate update of patient chart and databases.
  • Job Duty 2 - Create, maintain, and ensure efficient and effective processing immunization records in collaboration with clinical team.
  • Job Duty 3 - Serve as point of contact and provide customer service for any immunization questions or concerns.
  • Job Duty 4 - Coordinate and schedule immunization notices and appointments as needed.
  • Job Duty 5 - Provide and assist providers in patient care efforts for matters related to immunization.
  • Job Duty 6 - Assist in developing immunization procedures and policies.
  • Job Duty 7 - May serve as medical assistant as needed.
  • Job Duty 8 - Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

Two to three years of job related experience
