Job summary

CAPWN in Gering, NE seeks an Immunization Coordinator & Primary Care LPN to lead the immunization program and support the Primary Care Clinic. This full-time, 40-hour position blends clinical nursing with program administration in a team-based PCMH environment.

You will ensure vaccine program compliance, manage inventory and budgets, train staff, and partner with providers to deliver accessible, high-quality care to CAPWN’s community.

Qualifications

• Current Nebraska LPN license and BLS certification.
• Ability to manage immunization programs and clinic operations.
• Strong patient education and care coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee immunization program activities and compliance with VFC/VFA policies.
• Develop and manage immunization budgets and workplans.
• Maintain vaccine inventory and cold-chain documentation.
• Provide staff training and community education on immunization best practices.
• Coordinate patient appointments and support PCMH clinic operations.
