Job Description

National law firm has an immediate opening for an Immigration Paralegal (Immigration Case Coordinator). The successful candidate will have the freedom to work fully remote.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file non-immigrant applications/petitions (E, H, L, TN, O) and immigrant petitions (EB 1 to 3), along with adjustment of status and immigrant visa applications. Oversee labor certification filings (PERM) and be prepared to discuss the entire process during the interview.
  • Understand prevailing wage concepts and wage level calculations; explain the process during the interview.
  • Be familiar with the concepts of Delitizer and Kazarian.
  • Perform case intake, analyze documents, and draft correspondence and memos.
  • Maintain positive client contact while observing confidentiality.
  • Organize and maintain client documentation, monitor workload and productivity.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding case filings.
  • Monitor expiration dates and prepare case status reports using case management systems.
  • Support the Immigration Group with additional tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience preparing and filing non-immigrant applications/petitions.
  • Experience with PERM filings and thorough understanding of PERM processes.
  • Previous experience with INSZoom preferred.
  • Ability to handle a high volume workload with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
