Qualifications

• Paralegal certification required; substantial equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of three (3) years of U.S. business immigration experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; high school diploma accepted.
• Investor visa experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Immigration Case Preparation and Management: Prepares nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for attorney review in a timely manner.
• Drafts support letters and assembles filing packages in accordance with applicable regulations and firm standards.
• Manages multiple immigration matters concurrently at various stages of preparation and adjudication.
• Reviews documents and information to assist attorneys with issue-spotting and case strategy development.
• Monitors filed and pending matters, escalating irregularities, delays, or risks as appropriate.
