Eekhoff Law, Prof. LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys with substantive legal work, case preparation, and document filing.

The role relies on strong organizational skills and proficiency with legal software for research, document management, and electronic filing. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask under pressure, and committed to providing exceptional client and staff support.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong grammar/spelling.
  • Effective time management in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with scheduling, calendar management, and record keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing cases for interviews, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Conduct legal and factual research, including statutes, country conditions, and case law.
  • Draft letters, petitions, motions, and other legal documents for attorney review.
  • File documents with USCIS, DOS, NVC, EOIR, BIA, and other courts as needed.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files in accordance with firm procedures.
