Job summary

Meltzer Hellrung LLC in Chicago-area is seeking a Paralegal with employment-based immigration experience to partner with internal legal teams and provide account management services to clients and stakeholders.

You will work closely with attorneys and other paralegals to drive processes to completion using the Voyager platform, draft applications, and manage PERM, I-140, and AOS tasks while supporting junior staff.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of employment-based immigration experience in a paralegal role.
• Experience with visa preparation: H-1B, PERM, TN, E-3, L-1, I-140, AOS.
• Experience with EB-1A, NIW, O-1 is a plus.
• Ability to manage client accounts and prep reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide account management services to assigned clients using the Voyager platform.
• Draft applications and prepare materials for attorney review.
• Complete PERM processing and I-140/AOS steps.
• Supervise junior paralegals where applicable.
• Monitor client communications and ensure timely responses.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration law.
