Job summary

McAfee & Taft is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced firm. You will draft, organize and proof legal documents, conduct immigration research, and manage case files and deadlines.

This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate complex multi-step immigration processes, including USCIS forms, visa categories, and appellate deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3 years legal experience required; 4+ preferred.
• Proficiency with USCIS forms and procedures.
• Knowledge of visa categories and labor certification processes.
• ABA-approved paralegal certification preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Draft, proof and edit complex legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
• Organize case files and manage document management system.
• Coordinate complex multi-step immigration processes.
• Billing and time entry; client communications.
