Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Legal Expert — Immigration (Project Donna) for a contract, remote position. You will read synthetic legal matters, review blinded AI deliverables, and prepare concise rationales, all under NDA and without external AI tools. Eligible candidates are qualified lawyers with business immigration experience and precise written English.

You will work independently to written instructions and deadlines. This role requires confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with substantive practice experience in business immigration.

Responsibilities

• Read a synthetic legal matter and its underlying documents.
• Review six blinded AI deliverables (A–F) for that matter.
• Make five head-to-head comparisons against a common comparator output.
• Write a short, specific rationale for every preference.
• Ensure all work is covered by NDA and refrain from using external AI tools on any project material.
• Work independently to written instructions and meet deadlines.
